Our sale would not be possible without the help of our volunteers. All volunteers work a minimum of one 4 hour shift. We also offer a limited number of Key Volunteer positions. Key Volunteers work a minimum of 16 hours and earn $32 Mommy's Secret Bucks to use toward their purchases! ALL Key Volunteers must work Breakdown - and will be able to take their unsold items and checks at the end of breakdown. We also need men for set-up and tear-down (their shifts are shorter!), wives let your husband work and you shop early!
Star Volunteers
Work one 4 hour shift

Super Volunteers
Work 8 hours

Breakdown Volunteers
Breakdown runs from 4 p.m. until it is complete. Usually we are finished by 8 p.m. We rap up breakdown with pizza and drinks! Work Breakdown and you will be allowed to shop before all other regular volunteers! Breakdown is going to be fun with Music and a Breakdown Manager to keep things going!

Key Volunteers **Limited Number of Positions**
Work a minimum of 16 hours
Has to work Breakdown which will count for 4 hours towards your 16 required hours

Check-out Assistant - This volunteer will be responsible for pulling the tags off of the items to make the check-out process faster. You will not be responsible for any money! If you work these positions you will receive your hourly credit PLUS earn $10 Mommy’s Secret Bucks per day to put towards your purchase.
Non-Consigning Volunteers
We do offer volunteer positions for those who are unable to consign. All non-consigning volunteers are required to work two 4 hour shifts (may combine any two 4 hour shift options) Non-consigning may also be a Breakdown or Key Volunteer. For these positions you will need to meet the above requirements with an additional 4 hour shift. (Great for Grandmothers!).
Just to earn Mommy's Secret Bucks to Spend!
NEW! Want to earn Mommy's Secret Bucks to spend at the sale? Approach any business owner (salons, realtors, home based businesses, etc) and ask them if they would like to advertise their business at the Mommy's Secret Sale. The cost is $30.00 for 500 flyers to be inserted into our goodie bags. You collect the $30.00 and the flyers and bring it to drop-off no later than Monday, Sept. 8th and we will give you $10 Mommy's Secret Bucks to spend at the sale. There is NO maximum to how many you can sell. We do the stuffing! If you have any questions about the flyer program please email us at info@mommyssecret.com.
If you do not show up for your chosen shift you will not be allowed to Volunteer in our next sale.

Alternative Volunteer Opportunities
Publicity: If anyone is able to get us media coverage; TV, Newspaper, Radio etc. This will count as 4 Volunteer hours.
Library Monitors: You are responsible putting together approximately 50 packets, taking them to the library, and making sure that the bin stays full until the sale. This will count as 4 volunteer hours.
Flyers to Schools and Daycares: You will be responsible for taking flyers to Schools and/or Daycares from a list that we will provide. If you would like to distribute flyers please contact our volunteer manager at Stacy@mommyssecret.com. Please put the area that you are interested in distributing to in your email.
You can do any of these volunteer positions to count towards being a Star, Super or Key Volunteer hours.
